I use VNC with gnome on Red Hat AS 2.1. This is the ~/.vnc/xstartup
script. The last line is what I had to put in to use gnome.
=======================
#!/bin/sh
xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey
xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
exec gnome-session &

Subject: Re: FW: VNC
Hi All,
I am interested in using my active linux desktop via VNC .
Brian suggested a application called Krfb for KDE. I use GNOME for my
desktop. Does anyone know of any application which I can use with
gnome so that, I can share my actual desktop(:0) at my office desk via
VNC ?
thanks in advance,
