Hi,

This is what I did to fix it, hope this works for you.

Login to the client. and remove all the files from  /var/cache/yum.
Also remove all the yum repo files.
then yum clean all
and yum check-update.

Worked for me out of my 6 test clients 5 had this problem, I managed
to get them all to work.
