For current CCVS customers
Red Hat has decided to discontinue its support of the CCVS credit card payment processing software. If you have unredeemed keys in the CCVS Provisioning Database, please claim them before the 1/15/02 cutoff date. If you are unable to claim your unredeemed keys in that timeframe, please contact us before the cutoff date so that we may assist you. You may reply to this email or call our CCVS team at (510) 986-8770 or email ccvs-support@redhat.com
To ensure that you can continue to process credit cards without disruption, Red Hat has negotiated an exclusive arrangement with MainStreet Softworks to assist you for the remainder of your contract term. MainStreet Softworks makes MCVE, a solution that is similar to CCVS in its use and value.
Customers with a current year-long support contract should contact MainStreet Softworks by e-mail: support@mainstreetsoftworks.com or phone at 352-378-8228
** MainStreet will provide a library with MCVE that allows you (at no additional cost) to continue using your existing scripts written for the CCVS API with MCVE.
To ensure your privacy, we have not sent your firm's identity information or your CCVS contract details to MainStreet. After you have contacted them, Red Hat will provide verification to them of your CCVS support entitlement expiration.
