Heavy Reading’s 2023 Open RAN Operator Survey

Heavy Reading surveyed 83 telecommunications service providers that own and operate mobile networks to find out more about open radio access network (RAN) activity, performance, expenditure expectations, and deployment. Their findings reveal trends around RAN performance, sentiment, and pace, and the importance to organizations of improving RAN performance. Barriers include security vulnerability, vendor interoperability, and systems integration.
