Red Hat Open Innovation Labs is Red Hat's flexible and adaptable approach to help customers solve their business problems. In partnership with Red Hat IT and the Red Hat People team, Open Innovation Labs helped the teams come together to overcome their challenges in an 8-week residency. Watch the video to learn more.
At Red Hat Open Innovation Labs, we look to deliver the best of Red Hat in every engagement. Red Hat now has an Open Innovation Labs space in Boston. Check out how the space is fostering collaboration between customers and Red Hat experts.
Red Hat has opened the doors to its Open Innovation Lab in Singapore, underscoring the open source software giant's focus on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region in its growth strategy. Red Hat said its APAC Open Innovation Lab, which comes on the heels of similar facilities in Boston and London, will help let enterprises test and use Red Hat's technology including containers and microservices to develop applications and solve business problems through a one- to three-month residency program. Participants will also have the chance to be immersed in Red Hat's culture and get immediate and direct experience with the principles and open culture that underlie many open source communities.
When looking to invest in training, it can often come down to two questions; what is the business value of training? Why should IT team training be prioritized now? Red Hat recently commissioned a study with IDC to determine just that, "The Business Value of Red Hat Training." Red Hat Training was shown to improve IT operations and support business requirements and new technologies, with a 20% efficiency improvement in infrastructure management. Organizations that use Red Hat Training experienced 71% less unplanned downtime, 36% more efficient help desk response time, and a three year ROI of 389%.

Red Hat Blog - Red Hat takes CO.LAB on the road to teach girls coding, collaboration, and the open source way
In April, we asked the question, "What happens when 25 middle school girls get together?" The answer was CO.LAB. Red Hat hosted 25 Latina-American and African-American girls from underserved areas of Boston for an immersive experience, introducing them to the principles of open source — and to a world of technology and collaboration. This fall we're taking the experience on the road to teach girls about the interconnectivity of arts and technology. CO.LAB, presented by Open Source Stories, will be making stops in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Raleigh, NC in an effort to empower young girls with collaborative problem solving skills that can help them succeed in their pursuit of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) careers.
