In this role, she has worked with a number of technology clients to demonstrate and justify the business return on investment (ROI) and value of technology investments, based on the costs, benefits, flexibility, and risk associated with specific investments. Prior to joining Forrester, Julia worked at Nielsen as an innovation research manager, responsible for supporting clients on innovation initiatives spanning concept testing, product or messaging optimization, package design, product portfolio assessment, and pricing/promotions analyses. She earned an M.S. in applied communications research from Boston University; a B.S. in marketing and a B.A. in communications from the University of Connecticut.

René is responsible for the Microsoft Open Source Strategy within Microsoft Western Europe as part of the Azure Business Group. He is also the Azure Developer Community Lead. René is responsible to ensure Open Source solutions are pushed through the local Microsoft country teams by providing Go To Market plans. This includes Open Source Migration Programs, Application Modernization and Innovation plays including Cloud Native plus Open Source Database Migration/ Utilization.
Prior to working for Microsoft he worked for open source companies like Docker (2 years) and Red Hat (6 years) where he held several positions. René has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.

Roy is responsible for making sure that when customers are successful when adopting cloud-native technology in the Microsoft ecosystem. He engages with Microsoft field, partners, and customers for enablement and to drive cloud-native business across EMEA. Roy also gathers relevant feedback from customers and connects them with product and engineering teams. He works closely with Red Hat on a daily basis.

Chuck Svoboda is the Senior Director of Managed Services GTM, Global, responsible for the go-to-market and adoption strategies for Red Hat Managed Services such as Azure Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenShift on Amazon. Chuck and his team ensures customer success by helping them focus on outcomes through applications without the toil of managing infrastructure or platforms.

With over twenty years of hands-on keyboard development experience, Chuck is a software developer at heart. He has owned development initiatives in data, middleware, and UX areas, leading multi-disciplined and geo-diverse teams. Chuck is excited to be working in the evolving world of Kubernetes cloud services and remains a tinkerer to emerging technologies.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Chuck was a Field Engineer at Pivotal Software, and a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, championing the inaugural year of their Strategic Innovation Group. Preceding Booz Allen, Chuck was product owner of Asurion’s Financial Services IT vertical, enabling initiatives to establish a customer base in the EU and APAC regions.

Chuck relocated from his hometown, Kansas City Missouri, to the Washington DC area in 2011 where he currently resides. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri. Additionally, Chuck is a PMI Project Management Professional. In his personal time, he enjoys alpine skiing, photography, and running.

Guido is Accenture’s Red Hat Business Group Lead for Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Russia, plus the Cloud Spokesperson of Accenture Switzerland. Besides this role, he is the Global Lead for the Accenture Cloud Innovation Centre and former Cloud Advisory Lead for Financial Services in Switzerland.

Guido is a keynote speaker on Cloud & Container topics e.g. Red Hat Summit, Red Hat Forums Europe, FINEXTRA and the Swiss Banking Association, and author for EuroCloud and others associations and medias. Guido holds a degree a degree in Business Informatics of the University of Applied Sciences Zürich and in International and European Business Law of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Additionally, he is a University lecturer for Cloud Computing at the University of Applied Scienced Northern Switzerland (FHNW) since 2018. If not at work, he is a proud father of 2 kids, which you can find road cycling or on a basketball court.
