This week we cover the open source supply chain, finding security vulnerabilities faster, how one girl is helping change the world, and more.

Mitigating open source supply chain risk

The past few years have given us a sobering look at the potential damage caused by security breaches. Organizations need to give serious consideration to their software "supply chain," and how to quickly address any newfound vulnerabilities and exploits. Whether due to bugs or bad actors, there are times when serious security issues can crop up and propagate through the supply chain, causing headaches all the way up and down the line. And it can take some time to sort these issues out, especially if you’re trying to manage all of this on your own.
