Red Hat® Insights continuously analyzes platforms and applications to predict risk, recommend actions, and track costs so you can better manage your hybrid cloud environments.

In efforts to make Insights easy to fit into your organization, the Insights team has done a lot of work around integrations and notifications to make it easy for the recommendations, risks, or cost savings that Insights finds can be delivered into places where you are already working.

These integrations are generally pretty simple to setup and cover various third party products: ServiceNow, Splunk, Google Chat, Slack, Event driven Ansible, webhooks, and the focus of this video which is Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams integration

The video below (and linked here) will cover creating the Teams integration using an incoming webhook in Microsoft Teams, setting up the integration in the Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console, creating or editing a behavior group to define what type of events to send onto the Teams integration, and finally we test by generating some Insights data and verifying that it is received into Teams.

As a reminder, Red Hat Insights is included with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform subscriptions so this is something that you likely already have!
