Northwell Health is one of the first healthcare providers to adopt the Object Management Group (OMG) standard decision model and notation (DMN) for implementation of clinical decision support. In this presentation and demo, Matteo Mortari, Red Hat, and Vipul Kashyap, Northwell Health, demonstrate the value Northwell Health has realized by using the DMN standard. They will cover:

-Creation of decision support logic by clinical informaticists (business analysts) as opposed to IT developers.
-Testing and refining decision models by clinical informaticists.
-Advantages of DMN for standardization and reuse of clinical decision logic.
