レッドハット株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役社長：廣川裕司、以下レッドハット）は、インメモリデータグリッドを提供する新製品「JBoss Data Grid 6.0」の提供を本日開始します。JBoss Data Grid (以下、JDG)の年額サブスクリプションは、16Coreあたり、2,496,000 円(税別)からになります(注1)。JBossのビジネスソリューションの一環として、本製品は、ビッグデータの分野にスケーラブルな分散型インメモリKVS（Key-Vaule-Store）/ NoSQLソリューションを提供します。
JBoss Data Grid 6.0の最大の特徴は、リニアにスケールできる大規模なインメモリデータグリッド（Key-Vaule-Store）環境を様々なアプリケーションインターフェースを介して提供できることです。提供されるインターフェースは、Javaに加え、MemcachedやREST Webサービス、Hod Rodに対応したインターフェースを提供しているため、Pythonや.NET など多彩なアプリケーション開発言語から大規模なインメモリKVSを利用できます。JBoss Data Grid 6.0の主な特徴は、以下の通りです。
1) リニアにスケールでき、かつ、可用性／信頼性の高いインメモリデータグリッド/KVSを提供
JBoss Data Grid 6.0は、インメモリデータグリッドのための最新アーキテクチャを提供しており、グリッドノードの増強とともにリニアにスケール可能です。また、グリッド上のデータを安全にキャッシュするとともに、レプリケーション機能、複数クラスタ対応、トランザクションに対応した永続化機能にも対応しています。これらの最新アーキテクチャの提供により、グリッドノードの動的な追加や縮小にも対応した伸縮性のあるアーキテクチャを提供し、同時に、可用性と信頼性を兼ね備えたインメモリKVS環境を提供できます。
2) 多彩なインターフェース、アーキテクチャに対応
JBoss Data Grid 6.0は、MemchacedやHod Rod、REST APIなどのインターフェースを提供しているため、Javaアプリケーションからの利用だけでなく、.NETやPythonなどのアプリケーション、Webサービスを利用している様々なアプリケーションからもJDGの大規模なグリッド環境を利用することができるようになります。
3) 大規模インメモリKVS環境の低価格化を実現
これまで規模の大きなインメモリデータ環境を構築するためには、プロプラエタリなキャッシュ基盤ソフトウェアやインメモリデータベースなどの製品導入とその運用には高額な投資が必要でした。しかし、JBoss Data Grid 6.0は、オープンソースソフトウェアライセンスとして提供されるため、大規模インメモリKVS環境を低価格で実現することができます。
JBoss Data Grid 6.0は、ビッグデータ市場に対してリニアにスケールできるハイパフォーマンスなアプリケーションを構築できるソリューションを提供します。 多くの企業では2014年までに大規模なインメモリデータグリッド環境構築が必要になると予測されています(注2)。このようなインメモリデータKVSは、スマートフォンやタブレットPCの普及によるマルチディバイス環境下での急速に増加するユーザセッション情報の管理やグローバルレベルでの出荷のトラッキング情報の管理、大規模なネットビジネスにおけるコンテンツ配信環境の構築など様々な要望に応えることができるようになります。
