Cloud Native Architectures Workshop

Cloud Native Architectures Workshop is a hands-on experience where you will design, develop, and deploy modern cloud-native applications using Red Hat® OpenShift® application platform technologies.

The workshop consists of several independent modules in a pick-your-adventure format, so you can choose the topics and technologies that are most appealing to you. Each guided workshop will help you discover more about your selected use case and proposed solution architectures. 

The modules are based on real-world use cases. They provide details about the business problem at hand and discuss possible solutions, such as the following:

• Application modernization: Use change data capture to build new functionality without touching existing code.
• API management:  Learn how a contract-first API approach provides the right framework for launching new channels with a focus on security.
• Integration: Build a multichannel support service that integrates several instant messaging solutions.
•  Application connectivity: Build a service network to connect disparate services across cloud and datacenter boundaries.
• Serverless event-driven architecture: Use serverless technology to build an event-driven application without having to deal with the underlying messaging infrastructure.

• Bring your laptop with the Firefox or Chrome web browser.
• Entry-level Kubernetes knowledge, such as a general awareness of pods, deployments, services, and namespaces, is helpful.
