Managing subscriptions can be time-consuming and overly complex. For example, system administrators may spend a considerable amount of time ensuring new subscriptions are properly deployed. If this task is done incorrectly, systems won’t be able to receive updates.
Red Hat created the new simple content access feature and subscription watch tool to provide an improved subscription management experience. Using simple content access with Red Hat® Satellite Server eliminates overhead encountered when managing subscriptions for Red Hat Enterprise Linux® hosts. Subscription watch provides a dashboard to view subscription usage and may be used with or without simple content access.
In this webinar, we’ll explain:
- What simple content access and subscription watch provide and demonstrate how they work.
- How to enable and use simple content access and subscription watch.
- Data collected by subscription watch.
We’ll also give a demonstration of simple content access in Satellite Server and the subscription watch Software-as-a-Service tool. Following the presentation, we’ll have a Q&A session to cover any questions not addressed in the presentation.
